Liz :: Expecting!
My dear, dear friend Liz just recently had her third baby. A beautiful baby boy who came into this world surrounded by the love of his family and friends who had been excitedly awaiting his arrival!
A week before giving birth to little Abner, we got a chance to go out and do some beautiful springtime maternity pictures of Liz and a few with the rest of the family too!

Ralph and Martha :: Engaged!
A beautiful spring evening, a bottle of wine, a fabulous dress and a couple in love. These things all played a part in a romantic and carefree engagement for Ralph and Martha! I love their pictures and how in love they look in them. In just a little over a month these two will have their wedding in Santa Clara and I am so very much looking forward to the love, traditions, and happiness that will be woven together in the celebration of their marriage.
Jerrie and Joey :: Engaged!
Jerrie and Joey met years ago at UC Davis (you'll see exactly where in a minute!). Life has moved them around a bit but they decided to go back the beginning with a an engagement session at UC Davis! I loved how much they laughed and the fun ideas that they brought to the session! I have a feeling their wedding is going to truly be a celebration of their life that they have built together.
Here's where they met! Long ago in English class. :)
Jesus and Katie :: Engaged!
Jesus and Katie are getting married this summer at the Putah Creek Lodge on the UC Davis campus. They met at UCD so it was befitting that we did their engagement session there and they even brought some fun props to tie in their college days into their session! So looking forward to this wedding; I think it's going to be laid back and fun, just like Jesus and Katie. And don't you think Katie is going to make a beautiful bride?!
Mini Sessions :: Davis, California Family Photographer
I'd have to say that this Fall was probably the busiest time I've had so far in my business. For the first time, I offered holiday mini-sessions and I ended up booking them completely! I got to work with so many great families; some came back from past years and others were first time clients. In order not to spill the beans for those hoping to use their photos on holiday cards, I didn't post to Facebook. But I'd say it's safe to say that since it's almost Valentine's Day, I should be in the clear. Here are some of my favorites from my sessions this year (and believe me, it was hard to choose just one favorite!)! Thank you to all the wonderful people who came out for them!

Love this family. I have so much respect for how they raise their family! These kids are so fun and I can't tell you how loving each brother is to that very lucky little sister!
So, so sweet. Big sister has the most adorable curly hair and freckles and little brother has amazing blue eyes and an unmatchable personality! :)
Another set of brothers! And a lot of energy here! These two gave me a workout but it was so worth it!
I did a special mini-session for these two cuties visiting from out of town! I have a feeling big sister's going to be watching out for her little brother for awhile!
